CEREC® Before & After
Case Study 1
The CEREC® technology provides an ideal way to precisely restore teeth with restorations that fit like gold. It is as simple as capture, design and bond. Patient's love the conservative approach and completing the treatment in one appointment.
With the addition of a digital bite registration, the Biogenetic CEREC® software now proposes 95% or more of the final restoration design. This significantly simplifies the design process for even the most computer novice. Restorations can be milled in 5-8 minutes. Glazing and some staining characterization maximizes function and aesthetics.
It is customary to try-in ceramics prior to bonding. Note the accuracy of the dry-fit restoration. This rivals the fit accomplished by the very best labs in the country. Restoration bonded with Excite and Variolink II Transparent. Note the melting of the Triluxe margins. CEREC® restorations fit like gold and can be very aesthetic.

Case Study 4
This client is a successful CEO and even with his success, felt his smile was holding him back from being his best. After further discussion in my office, we decided to recreate his mouth in phases. The after photos represent completion of phase I (upper smile zone veneers and crowns). What I like about this case was the ability to recapture a natural well preserved appearance (patients desire).
One of the secrets to capturing a natural smile makeover is harmonious outline of the soft tissue outline. This is preplanned in the diagnostic stage. In this case, the gum zenith outline was designed with laser recontouring prior to preparation. The preparation margins are then finished to the scribed zenith outline. This facilitates control over the emergence profile during the CEREC® design and finishing stages. Notice papillae health particularly between the centrals. Ceramics: Empress CAD 200 anterior 7-10 customized with incisal layering and stain/glaze and canines/premolarsA2 Multi.
